Rise of the Footsoldier (2007) Review

Starting off the new blog with a movie review and up first we have the British crime film Rise of the Footsoldier (2007). The movie follows the life of football hooligan Carlton Leach as he rises from the terraces to the British underworld. The film stars Ricci Harnett, Craig Fairbrass, Roland Manookian, Terry Stone, Coralie Rose and Billy Murray. Rise of the Footsoldier has become one of my firm favorite British gangster-crime movies in recent years. It is pacy, violent and action packed. The movie begins with the rise of a young Carlton as he becomes a feared general of the ICF(Inter City Firm) football hooligans.
